Greenhouse Training
A greenhouse provides a healthy, protected, nutrient-rich environment for seeds to grow into thriving plants. In the same way, a Greenhouse Church nurtures emerging leaders (“seeds”) into prepared leaders and teams (“starts”) ready for transplanting into a church plant or the mission field.
Greenhouse Training equips churches to cultivate leadership development and maximize ministry impact.

Leadership
Dave Reynolds coordinates the Western Church Planting Alliance. He and his wife Elena have been directly involved in church planting for more than 35 years. They met at Long Beach State University, married in 1986, and since 1990 have devoted their ministry to helping people find and follow Jesus Christ through planting churches.
Their journey has included launching ShoreLife Church in Huntington Beach, California, in 1991; founding Northwest Church Planting in Vancouver, Washington, in 1998; and planting Chorus Church (now Awakening Church) in Southern California, where they served from 2003 to 2013. In 2014, Dave was appointed national church-planting director for the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA). In that role, he helped develop the Alliance’s national regions, created a strategy to transform churches into multiplying churches, and developed the Greenhouse philosophy and training to equip and empower established churches to multiply. He continues to serve on the Alliance national team, coach leaders, and direct church-planting efforts for the South Pacific District.
